Building Learning Habits
The great physicist Albert Einstein once said 'It's not that I am so smart. But I stay with the questions longer'. At Bishop Vesey's Grammar School we agree with Einstein that the key to academic success is your commitment to learning. We believe that right from Year 7 we need to build excellent learning habits in all our students. That means we want our learners to be resilient and independent. We want them to not be scared of getting stuck because there is so much that can be learned from tackling things that are both difficult and complex. We also want students to look carefully at any assessment feedback and thoroughly respond to it. Our Building Learning Habits programme develops better learners and greater academic success.
