Team Vesey 2010

June 6th 2010 proved to be an exciting, if exhausting, day. BVGS staff, students and parents – over a 100 in total – came together as “Team Vesey” to participate in the Great Midlands Fun Run- an eight and a half mile run, in and around Sutton Park, raising money for a variety of local, national charities as well as our very own Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School. Our team had a full range of abilities with one of the parents, Rob Andrew, coming overall second in the race. Some of the team were in fancy dress with Andrew Cotterill, our new School Captain, leading the way dressed as a banana. This event is set to become a regular annual fixture on the Vesey calendar. Time to dust down your trainers and get training for June 5th 2011!
